Do you use your own installers?

Every operative within the JTP team are employed in house and have undergone extensive training. We do not employ and sub contractors to carry out any of our manufacture or installation works.

Where are the windows made?

All of our windows are manufactured in our Newton Abbot workshop by our time served craftsmen to each individual specification.

I am within a conservation area/listed building can you help?

Although there are restrictions regarding listed building and conservation areas our surveyors have extensive experiance in dealing with local authoritys can can guide you through the process of planning  applications where replacement windows are concerned. We are able to overhaul windows and install our perimeter draught seal system without the requirement for any form of planning permission.

Can works be carried out during the winter months?

We are able to carry out all of our services all year round.

How disruptive will the works be?

Our installation teams are very cortious and professional. We a;ways aim to keep disruption to a very minimum although as with any works being caried out to your home there will be some minor disruption. Our installers will always cover all furniture within each room and also apply carpet protector throughout all walkways and working areas leaving your home as clean and tidy as when we arrived.

What are the benefits of the perimeter draught seal system?

There are several benifits of the perimeter draught seal system with the most notable benifits being the vast improvement in heat loss, dust ingress and sound insulation from external areas. Another benifit is the very noticable differance in how the window operates. With the window running on brush seals your windows will gluid effortlessly within the box frame and be free from sticking and rattling.

Should I replace my existing timber windows with replacement timber windows?

This is something that will be discussed by our survyor during the initail site visit. If your windows are repairable then we would always opt for one of our overhauling, draught proofing or double glazing options as these will cause far less disruption to your home whilst also saving a considerable amount of money.

Do you offer any different types of glass?

We offer a very wide range of glazing options including double glazing, single glazing, safety glass, fire glass, textured glass and laminate glass.  This is something that your surveyor will discuss with you during the initial survey to ensure we are able to meet you exact requirements.

Do you offer services which cover the replacement or refurbishments of other types of windows and doors?

Do you carry out works for commercial clients?

We do manufacture, install and refurbish windows for commercial clients. We have built a very large client base of local contractors and building company's who we have built an excellent working relationships with over years of impeccable service.

How much does it cost?

The cost for your windows will vary depending on which option you choose. Generally the overhaul and draught proofing of sash windows starts at £350. Replacement double glazed sashes start from £750 with complete replacement windows starting from £1200.

All of our quotations are free of charge and come with no obligation to buy our services or use our company. Our surveyors will always give you honest advice and advise of the most cost effective service that will suit your needs.
